Northern Cricket Frog or possible Blanchard's Cricket Frog (Endangered Species) both of which are found in the southern lower Michigan. This would be far from their population range . Observed along the stream that flows into Lake Huron at Harrisville State Park.

Green Tree Frog is found in the southern United States. I have now observed two of these behind the Heath District # 2 building in Harrisville at the old Kid's Fishing Ponds. A couple of theories as how they got here in Michigan. One is that someone had got these from a pet store and released them. Or two, a duck migrating from the southern U.S. had the frog's eggs on it's feet and landed in the water releasing the eggs.
